We’re thrilled to announce that Local internet marketing pioneer and founder and CEO of Australia’s largest Australian owned AdWords Management Company, 27-year-old Ben Bradshaw, has recently been named in the SmartCompany.com.au Hot 30 Under 30 2011 line-up.

SmartCompany.com.au described Mr. Bradshaw, whose business SponsoredLinx operates from its Annerley premises, as ‘something akin to a Jedi Master’ in the world of search engine marketing.

In just four years, the company, which provides a range of SEO and online marketing services, has won big-named clients including the Australian Government, ANZ and insurance giant NRMA. It recorded revenue of $3.7 million in 2009-10, with average annual growth in the past three years of 88%.

Nearly every business on the list of Hot 30 Under 30 has a revenue of at least $1M and SmartCompany has put the rise of these entrepreneurs, Ben Bradshaw included, down to five ‘secrets’:

1. They are immersed in technology – this group of entrepreneurs is the first to of really grown up with a keyboard in their hands, and they are using this to their advantage, especially those company’s like SponsoredLinx that are focused around social networking and online industries.

2. They understand how the Australian economy is changing – these entrepreneurs have their fingers on the pulse of the Australian economy, using changing conditions to their advantage, and to the advantage of their clients.

3. They understand global markets

4. They start small and dream big – A number of entrepreneurs on the Hot 30 have built strong businesses from very humble beginnings. Take Ben Bradshaw from www.sponsoredlinx.com.au for example; when SponsoredLinx began roughly four years ago, it was a two man show. Now SponsoredLinx can boast that it’s the largest Australian owned and operated Search Marketing Company.

5. They are young – Yes, it’s obvious, but in some industries being young is a big advantage. Around 20% of the members of the list work in advertising and marketing, where young and creative executives are prized for their fresh and original ideas.
